Cum zbor acum
Zbor cel putin o data la doua saptamani la Viena. Regimul asta a inceput prin mai 2008, asa ca am apucat sa vad si perioada de trafic maxim din 2008.
Care sunt diferentele observabile:
- In 2008, daca ajungeam sa zbor cu Sky Europe in loc de Tarom sau Austrian stiam ca ma asteapta cosmarul numit Aeroportul Baneasa. Acolo dimieata era un fel de autogara Dabuleni, unde tot romanul cu papornite, saci sau plase de plastic astepta cursele de Italia si Spania. Inghesuiala, mirosul si galagia contrastau clar cu costumele rare ale oamenilor de afaceri care zburau la Viena. Acum, e o adevarata placere. E liniste, nu sunt cozi, astfel incat pana si personalul aeroportului isi permite sa-ti zambeasca. Nu pot insa sa nu ma gandesc la cat de afectat este businessul companiilor aeriene.
- In 2008 ma orientam spre Sky Europe doar atunci cand Taromul cerea cu nerusinare 800 sau chiar 1200 EUR pentru o cursa dus-intors. Acum cautarile de bilete incep (si de cele mai multe ori se si termina) cu Sky, chiar daca n-am mai vazut de mult o oferta Tarom care sa depaseasca 350 EUR.
- in 2008 erai bucuros ca ai prins loc intr-un avion arhiplin. Acum iti poti alege locul, iar avionul nu se umple mai mult de 60% .
- in 2008 puteai alege din cel putin 5 curse zilnice care plecau spre Viena. Acum toti operatorii si-au injumatatit numarul de zboruri, si ne-am intors la anii 97-98 in care te trezesti ca martea nu ai cursa de seara la intoarcere…
- si ultima modificare: in 2008 costumele erau foarte rare intr-o cursa Sky. Acum majoritatea clientilor sunt imbracati in costum, semn ca au migrat masiv de la companiile clasice.

Wizzair tocmai a deschis o baza operationala in Timisoara, Sky Europe nu a rezistat in Timisoara cu cursa de Viena, si mai recent am aflat ca My Air bate in retragere in Romania.

Situatia e similara si pe alte trasee (Praga, Paris, Amsterdam), insa diferenta o fac si companiile aeriene si modul in care vand diversele clase de bilete. Companiile serioase lasa mereu cateva bilete la pret decent (economy standard, nu economy best-fare) pana in ultimele 3 zile, nu vand totul cu 1 luna inainte, chiar daca au clienti.
Eu merg mai des pe directia Praga si Amsterdam, si pot spune ca aproape in fiecare vineri seara zborurile spre casa sunt pline de calatori cu papornite din Spania care profita de ofertele CSA sau cu chinezi (cate 15) care schimba la Amsterdam zborul de la Beijing.
Criza va mai cerne si din incasarile companiilor aeriene, insa din pacate pentru noi Bucurestiul nu e o destinatie europeana de baza si poate iar ne alegem cu orare de zbor ca pentru lilieci (plecari pana in ora 6:30, sosiri mult dupa 00:30).
Ma intalnesc odata pe luna cu Adrian in aeroport cand mergem la Viena/cand ne intoarcem de la Viena
. Discutiile, foarte savante dealtfel, ating inevitabil si compania Sky Europe. Daca anul trecut discutia era: “faine avioanele astora, misto ca sunt noi!”, azi discutia s-a terminat cu “bafta, speram sa apucam sa ne intoarcem tot cu Sky!”. Asta fiindca mareata companie slovaca a inceput sa zboare din 2 in 2:-)
